Fast & Loose
are one of two theatre companies resident at riverhouse,
providing local people with stimulating and exciting theatre with a particular focus on the classics, intending to make them more accessible to everyone.
The Company actively seeks out newly-graduated actors, singers, dancers, writers and musicians in order to give them an opportunity to progress in their profession. Hotbuckle Productions
are the second resident theatre company at riverhouse. Hotbuckle are a professional theatre company that champion new writing and have their own innovative performance style. They tour both nationally and internationally on the small and middle scale touring circuit. Their current production is Great Expectations and their production for Autumn 2012 will be a new stage adaptation of Les Misérables

Riverhouse Young People’s Theatre
is a weekly skills-based workshop, led by professional theatre practitioners Jo Humphries and Adrian Preater.


It introduces young people to different ways of working in drama, and to a variety of styles of theatre. The focus is on performance and production skills, and the provision of a platform for young people interested in theatre, to produce and perform their own shows.
Drama taken a stage further. Riverhouse Young People’s Theatre is for young adults of 16 and above who are serious about seeing what else Drama and Theatre techniques have to offer.
