the courtyard
At the rear of the Barn is a charming courtyard. An ideal place to sit and relax while enjoying a dring or food from The Café Bar.

One feature of the courtyard is the Kewill gates, designed by architect Roger Wing and artist Blacksmith Paul Dennis, built to reflect the history of the barn. The design features poppies, wheat stems, birds, butterflies, mice and includes two owls, the symbol of the Barn. To see more pictures of the Kewill gates please click here

sensory garden
At the rear of the car park and overlooking the River Thames, a landscaped
sensory garden offers a peaceful setting for relaxation. Features include
a small amphitheatre for games and performances, a water fountain and quiet
sitting areas. It is open to the public at all times and appeals especially
to people with impaired senses.
The garden was made possible by a grant from the Norland Trust and sponsorship
from Air Products’ Hersham headquarters.
